Knight Music Despite the Odds!
Knight Music 2009 is now successfully concluded. We have pictures and video of the event! Scores are posted on the MAC Website.
Ten marching bands from New York and Connecticut competed in the 10th annual Knight Music marching band competition. The weather sounded scary all week, but when the day came we had decent weather with even a peek of sun in the middle (if you blinked you missed it!). But with 10 great bands performing, and die-hard fans there to watch them, it turned out to be a great show after all. There were some awesome performances at this 2/3rd point of the season. Shows are really coming together with final polish and precision.
We hope those of you who braved the weather enjoyed the great show, great food, and the hospitality of our school and band parents organization.
Annapolis Trip
All students and parents: The permission slips for our Annapolis National Championships on November 6th and 7th are available in the band room. Please pick one up and hand it in by Friday.
We are scheduled to perform at 4:40pm Friday November 6th. An itinerary will follow as soon as all plans are finalized.
Thanks for your cooperation and patience. This looks to be an exciting and memorable trip!
Mr. W.
