Percussion auditions and rehearsals begin Monday May 18 from 6-8 in the SHS band room.

Please bring all sticks and mallets needed for the audition and rehearsal.

Every member must audition for spots, including returing members.

All incoming freshman will need sticks.

The City of Stamford Memorial Day Parade is set for May 24th. The parade begins at 12:00.

All Marching Band and Concert Band students must be in the parade. A report time will be given to the students. They will have a short piece to memorize for the parade. Rehearsals will be set soon!

The Stamford High School Winter Percussion took their last performance into Finals in Dayton, Ohio this past season. Spending five days in Ohio rehearsing and enjoying the performances from other ensembles around the country, SHS earned the privelage of being one of two groups from Connecticut in the WGI Finals. We received 7th place in the World!

We look forward to next season and pushing to that gold medal.

The Black Knights percussion perform their "Hydrology" show at the MAC Winter Percussion Finals!

The Winter Percussion is off to Dayton, OH for the WGI World Championships. Wish us luck!

After a successful MAC season, winning 2nd place, the Stamford High School Winter Percussion fights for a medal in WGI. The ensemble is ranked in the top 10 of the world and improves every rehearsal.

Wish the ensemble luck and thanks for your support. The students deserve it!

As the guard was performing at MAC Championships, the Winter Percussion was warming up as they are beginning to make that strong push into April. Finishing touches are being put on the show as we begin moving towards Shelton High School for MAC and Dayton.

It was a tremendous performance Saturday night.

Congratulations to the Westhill/Stamford Color Guard for their terrific performance at the Musical Arts Conference Championships this past Saturday!

They completed the season with their best finish in years at Trumbull High School. We look forward to seeing them in the future.
