Trumbull - Let the Aerofest Begin!
Stamford rocks the house at Trumbull High School - Let the Aerofest begin!
The Stamford High School Black Knights took the field in class three competition. With only one week to go before our own show - Knight Music - it was time to give our first performance. And time for our many fans to finally see all the elements of our show.
Here is where all the hard work comes togther. All the elements of our show were on display. The music, marching, pit and color guard. The music of Aerosmith. And a smashing performance for our many fans.

SYA Tailgate Party - Our First Performance!

And what a crowd it was.
A great chance for the Black Knights Marching Band to show our stuff, and a good warmup for our first competition coming up in Trumbull. But more than that, a chance to make a difference for Stamford Youth. The Stamford Youth foundation supports youth athletics and (soon) music programs. We were thrilled to be a part of it.
Band Camp Concludes
Thank you Mr. Schneider! You really came through for us.
Band Camp is over. What a phenomenal camp. Many challenges were faced. Losing our band director perhaps the biggest of all.
But we rose to the challenge, and we were out there showing our parents and friends what we've got.
A huge thank you to Mr. Schneider who stepped in at the last minute to act as Director for band camp. The staff and student leaders also stepped up to the challenge to lead our band.
