Knight Music 2008 is now successfully concluded.  We have pictures, and the official scores are now posted.

Eight marching bands from New York and Connecticut competed in the 9th annual Knight Music marching band competition. With great weather, 8 great bands performing, and the best music fans in the world we couldn't go wrong.  We hope all of our visitors and visiting bands enjoyed the show.  We were thrilled and proud to have you.

It's nothing without great bands...

A special thank you to Central, Westhill, Naugatuck, Cheshire, Ramsey, Norwalk, and Trumbull High Schools for attending and making our show great.

It's about the community...

Community support was out in force!  The SHS Band Parents organization ran the show, but not without plenty of support from the community.  Way too many to name, but we'll mention the support of our Pitney Bowes volunteers, youth groups such as the National Honor Society and Tri M, Black Knights Marching Band alumni, custodians and field crew, and staff and administration of the Stamford Public Schools.

Our season continues...

The Black Knights Marching band will next be in action in Trumbull on Saturday, October 4th.  They'll be looking to improve their show going into the midpoint of their season.  Hope to see you there.
