The Black Knights made big scoring gains in their second performance of the season - narrowing the scoring gap with the 1st place Bethel Wild Cats to .05 points to take 2nd place in Class III! With a 10 point gain over their first performance at Brien McMahon the Knights are well on their way.

The Black Knights Percussion was awarded the caption award for best percussion - way to go percussion! And the band was awarded with the caption award for best music and best marching! Your many fans could see the big improvements you've made in all parts of the show in one short week - way to go!

This year was the silver anniversary of the Trumbull Band Classic. The Golden Eagles were blessed with great weather, and a great crowd for their show. It was great to see the many fine bands in action, and to enjoy such a full night of music.

Next up for the Black Knights? Knight Music - our home show of course. Stamford High will be performing in exhibition to cap off a show with 5 other bands in attendance. Included will be our cross town rival Westhill Vikings Marching Band. We also look forward to seeing Somers, Brien McMahon, The Highlanders, and Norwalk High.
