Band Uniforms

After the Memorial Day Parade, all band uniforms will be dry cleaned. The cleaning cost for each uniform is $15. Please give the money to Mr. Beratis in an envelope with your name on it. You can also mail it to the following address:

Band Banquet

Band Banquet

The SHS 2012 Band Banquet will be held on Thursday, May 31st from 6-9p at Pellicci's Ristorante. The cost is $25 per person for band members and their families. Attached is the reservation form to RSVP. If you plan on attending the banquet, please be sure to turn in the form and payment by May 20th. Thank you!

Winter Percussion Championships

The SHS Winter Percussion ensemble will compete in Winter Percussion Championships this Saturday 4/14 in Trenton, NJ. If you would like to attend the event, there are 20 additional seats available on the bus. Each seat is $10 and you must reserve your seat prior to April 12th. Walk-ons will not be allowed and all minors must be accompanied by an adult. The bus will be leaving around 12pm on Saturday and will not return until late evening (after awards). Please RSVP to stamfordhighbandparents@gmail.com to reserve your seat.

The SHSBPAI is accepting nominations through March 15th for the following Executive Board and Steering Committee positions:

Co- President, Secretary, Co- Treasurer, Quartermaster, Media Coordinator, Event Coordinator, Volunteer Coordinator and Committee Members (3).

Tree Lot Clean-Up

Tree Lot Clean-Up

We will be dismantling the tree stands, cleaning the trailer and packing everything away this Saturday 1/7 starting at 9am. We are looking for as many volunteers as possible to help with these tasks. The more people we have, the faster it will go. Thank you!

Winter Concert

Winter Concert

Our Winter Concert will be held on Wednesday 12/21 at 7pm. All band members should report to the band room at 6pm.

The dress code is as follows:

Boys: Suit or dress pants, button down shirt and a blazer. A tie and dress shoes are required.

Girls: Dress nice for the concert. No jeans or UGGS. Dresses and skirts are allowed, but the length must be below the knee.

Pasta Pot Luck Dinner

This Friday 8/26, the Band Parents Association will be holding a pasta pot luck dinner for our band members and their families. The band parents will be providing the pasta, but there will be a sign up sheet  to bring additional items needed for the dinner. Please be sure to RSVP and let the band parents know how many members of your family will be attending. We need a head count by WEDNESDAY 8/24 the latest.

Mandatory Meeting

Parents and Guardians there is a mandatory meeting scheduled on Wednesday, August 24th at 7:30pm. This will be a short but crucial meeting to the band's success this year. Please mark the date down on your calendar so you will be able to attend. Please check back here for updates regarding this meeting.

Attention Graduating Seniors and Families!

If you no longer want your band warm up suit, please consider donating it back to the program. There are many families who could use the support and they would be very appreciative of this gesture. If this is something you are interested in doing, please contact Mr. Beratis.
